Cross-border freight
From the UAE to anywhere in the Gulf.
Road freight from the UAE into the neighbouring Gulf states, with customs paperwork and border crossings arranged as part of the movement.
Route map
Where we go, and how.
Each route is driven as a single movement: collection in the UAE, customs at the border, delivery at the destination. Distances and times are typical and depend on clearance on the day.

Cross-border movements need customs documents, manifests and border permits. Send the cargo details and destination early so we can confirm the requirements and timing.
Before we load
What you need to send us.
Customs will not clear a shipment on a promise. Getting these ready before collection is the difference between a few hours at the border and a few days.
Ask what applies to your cargo- 01
Commercial invoice
Showing the buyer, seller, description of goods and the value of the shipment.
- 02
Packing list
Number of packages, weights and dimensions, matching what is loaded on the vehicle.
- 03
Certificate of origin
Where the goods were made. Needed for GCC customs and for any duty exemption.
- 04
Consignee details
Full company name, address, contact person, phone number and tax or customs number.
- 05
Customs code (HS code)
The tariff code for each type of goods, so customs can classify the shipment.
- 06
Conformity certificate (SABER for Saudi Arabia)
Regulated products need a shipment certificate of conformity for the destination country. Saudi Arabia uses the SABER platform; other GCC states have their own schemes.
- 07
Customs declaration
Filed on the destination system before arrival, for example FASAH in Saudi Arabia. We prepare this with the details you provide.
- 08
Permits for restricted goods
Any approval needed for chemicals, food, medical or high-value cargo, arranged before loading.
Request a price
Tell us the route and the load.
Send the details and our transport team replies with the documents required, the border timing and a fixed price for the movement.
Return loads into the UAE
We also carry cargo back from Saudi Arabia, Oman, Qatar, Bahrain and Kuwait into the UAE. If you have freight moving in that direction, a return load usually costs less than a one-way movement because the vehicle is already booked to travel.
How a cross-border movement runs
Five steps, one point of contact.
- 01
Share the load and destination
Cargo type, weight, value, pickup point and the destination city. We confirm whether the goods can cross and what paperwork is needed.
- 02
Documents prepared
Invoice, packing list, customs declaration and manifest are prepared with you before the vehicle is loaded.
- 03
Collection and loading
The right vehicle is dispatched to your site and the cargo is secured for a long-distance movement.
- 04
Border crossing
Customs clearance is handled at the border. Waiting time here depends on the checkpoint and the day.
- 05
Delivery and confirmation
The cargo is delivered to the destination address and delivery is confirmed back to your team.
Another destination in mind?
Tell us the city and the cargo and we will confirm whether we can run it.
Ask our team
Cross-border questions
Customs, cost and cover.
Send the cargo details, value and destination early. We confirm the documents needed and a realistic delivery window before loading.
How long does customs clearance take at the border?
With complete, correct paperwork clearance usually takes from a few hours up to a working day, and can run to two or three days at busy crossings or when a shipment is inspected. Missing or mismatched documents are the biggest cause of delay, which is why we ask for them before the vehicle is loaded.
Who pays the customs duty and clearance charges?
Duties and clearance charges are normally paid by the customer, either directly or through us as a pass-through cost. We confirm in the quotation which charges are included and which are not.
Which goods cannot be moved across GCC borders?
Illegal goods are never carried. Chemicals, food, medical goods, alcohol and high-value cargo need approvals in advance and may be restricted in some countries. Send the cargo details early and we will confirm what is allowed.
Is the cargo insured once it leaves the UAE?
Customers are normally responsible for insuring goods in transit, including the cross-border leg. Cargo insurance can be arranged on request. Tell us the cargo value so the right cover is quoted.
Can I get updates while the truck is on the road?
Yes. Our team sends updates at collection, at the border crossing and on delivery, by WhatsApp or email, to whoever you nominate.
Do you carry part loads across borders, or only full trucks?
Both, subject to the destination and the paperwork. A part load shares space with other cargo, which lowers cost but can add time at the border. Tell us the volume and deadline and we will recommend the better option.
